Community & Education

Classes for Children and Young People

There are weekly acting classes for children and young people, please see the what's on pages for detailed information.

Classes for Adults

Check out our what's on pages for opportunities for adults.

Schools

We are currently developing a programme of activities for nurseries and primary schools to access.

For under 5s, there is a weekly Make or Bake sesssion in partnership with Parent Time and the Children's Centres.

For Primary and Secondary schools we can assist you in touring theatre work into school or host productions which might not fit into your school. We also have a team of active artists who we can place with you for projects or they can be delivered at the Arts Centre in one of our special classroom spaces. For more information or to see how we can work with you, please contact info@mitchellartscentre.co.uk

Community Groups

We continue to actively work within the community and can support a number of community led events each year through our education and outreach team. We operate a unique project called the Spin Shop which is an interactive green paint spinning machine. This can be brought out to your events free of charge by the team (subject to availabliity).

If there are other opportunities for us to work with you, whether providing space, and artist, or advice on funding then please contact info@mitchellartscentre.co.uk
